To send RESnWEB online booking system’s transactional emails (emails and follow-up emails from the online booking system and its modules) we use Postmark service provider, one of the world’s most trusted mail providers.
To ensure that the emails are delivered securely and quickly to both the accommodation and the RESnWEB bookers (guests requesting for a proposal, buying gift voucher, using online check in form, writing guest review, etc.), several settings are required:
1. A TXT record and a CNAME record need to be set on the DNS server (Domain Name Server) and sent to you by our colleagues. With this setting you can “sign” the emails, giving our system permission to send emails in the name of the accommodation, e.g. a confirmation letter of the booking.
2. You need to set the IP addresses of Postmark as exceptions in the firewall of the accommodation’s mail server to ensure that mail from there reaches the accommodation, e.g. notification of arrival of reservation. These are the followings:
50.31.156.96/27 (50.31.156.96 - 127)
104.245.209.192/26 (104.245.209.192 - 255)
50.31.205.0/24 (50.31.205.1 - 255)
3. In addition to the above mentioned IP addresses, the following wildcard domain names should be set in the SPAM filter of the accommodation’s email server as an exception:
*@pm-bounces.hotelleveleződomainnév
*@pm-bounces.resnweb.com
*@resnweb.com
Thank you for setting. If you have any questions, please contact our support team via the chat in the admin interface or by email at support@resnweb.com.
