What can I use the multi-hotel search interface for?

What is the search interface and how does it work?

Why use the RESnWEB multi-hotel search interface?

The RESnWEB multi-hotel search interface was created to enable corporate groups and hotel chains to promote all of their properties on a single website. Guests can browse the characteristics, availability, and locations of each property, and search among them using various filtering criteria.

The multi-hotel interface is also particularly useful when a guest's preferred property has no availability. In such cases, another property within the same hotel group may still have available rooms, allowing you to offer guests alternative accommodation options without sending them elsewhere.

Another advantage of the interface is that it introduces guests to other properties within your corporate group. This increases the likelihood that guests who had a positive experience at one of your accommodations will choose to stay at another property in the future.

We also recommend using the search interface when a single property operates multiple RESnWEB profiles, for example due to different accommodation types. In this case, guests can first check availability for all profiles from a single interface before proceeding to the individual booking engines.

How does it work?

When guests open the search interface, they can view all available properties in either list view or map view.

After selecting their desired arrival and departure dates, guests can immediately see which properties have availability and which are fully booked. In addition, if the corporate group has created custom filters, guests can specify their individual preferences to quickly identify the properties that best match their needs.

If a property uses the RESnWEB online guest satisfaction survey module, the interface also displays the property's overall guest rating. This allows prospective guests to take previous guest feedback into account when making their decision. Ratings are displayed on a scale from one to five, based on the percentage score shown in the property's guest satisfaction widget.

Properties can also be sorted according to various criteria, making it even easier for guests to compare their options. They can also be viewed on an interactive map, allowing guests to see where each property is located in relation to the others and how easily they can be reached.

If rooms are available at a selected property, guests can continue to the property's booking engine to view room types and current prices for the selected dates. If no rooms are available, guests are offered the opportunity to browse the availability calendar and choose alternative dates.

Promotional code (secret offer)

The multi-hotel search interface also allows guests to enter a promotional code. If one of the properties offers a package or general discount associated with the entered code, the discounted offer will automatically appear in the property's booking engine.

It is also possible to create a link containing a pre-filled promotional code. When guests open such a link, the promotional code is entered automatically, eliminating the need to type it manually. These links are ideal for use in newsletters or on dedicated landing pages.

Please contact our customer support team if you would like to use the multi-hotel search interface.

If you already see the Multihotel Data menu in the RESnWEB administration interface, continue by reading the instructions for the Settings and Filters sections.
