Guests can register in the guest loyalty program independently by entering their e-mail address on the booking platform or logging in to Facebook (later) / Google. Register / log in options are available by clicking on the 👤 icon in the upper right corner of the platform.
In addition, by clicking on the “log in” button on the banner or the “% Sign in for more benefits!” button next to the prices on the Room & rates tab on each sub-page.
Registration / Login with Google account
By clicking the “Sign in with Google account” button, the guest must enter the email address associated with their Google account and the corresponding password both during registration and for subsequent logins. If the guest is already logged into their email account, no additional data entry is required.
Registration / Login with Email address
If the guest chooses to register with an email address, after entering their email address they must create a password, which they will use to log in to their user account in the future. During registration, the password must be entered twice. After this, a confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address to verify the registration. The guest must enter the code included in the email on the interface. Until the verification is completed, the guest will appear with a Pending status in the Guests menu of the admin interface. Once the verification is successful, the guest will gain access to their user profile and can immediately enjoy the benefits available to loyalty members.
For future logins, the guest can access their user profile by entering their email address and password. In this case, no additional verification code will be sent.
After registering for the returning guest program, guests will receive an automatic greeting letter with a text specified by the accommodation. The letter will also include the level reached by the guest with the registration.
After registering / logging in, guests can reach their user profile by clicking on the 👤 Guest button, where the following options will be available:
Benefit level
On this page, guests can see information about the program. They can have an overview of each benefit level, their current level and the requirements to move up.
Guests are notified of each change in category by e-mail with the text specified by the accommodation.
My preferences
In this menu item, guests can indicate their personal preferences to be taken into account by the accommodation during the guest’s stay. These preferences appear after each booking in the booking details and in the notification letters.
My reservations
Here, guests can have an overview of their bookings at the given accommodation and can also make a new booking from here. In addition, bookings can also be modified here.
By going to the Past tab, guests can view their bookings in the History table on the admin site, highlighted in grey, in addition to the bookings they have made through the system.
My personal data
In addition to the lowest price, another key aspect is convenience, which means not having to re-enter the same personal data each time they make a booking, but having it automatically filled in on the platform when they log in. This menu item serves this exact purpose.
In addition to entering and editing personal data, this menu item also provides the option of changing the password, or deleting the user account.
My travel mates
This menu item is for guests to enter the data and preferences of those fellow travelers with whom they travel the most often. This is useful, as guests can add their travel mates to the booking with one click, whereby in addition to the guest's details and preferences, the accommodation can also find out the names and preferences of the fellow travelers before they arrive.
My gift vouchers
In this menu item, guests can view the gift vouchers ordered / purchased and redeemable at the given accommodation. Once the voucher amount has been paid, the voucher can also be downloaded here.
Finalizing booking as a returning guest
The booking process for a returning guest differs from the traditional booking process in that the guest can see the reduced price for returning guests on the platform, in addition to the original rates. Original rates appear crossed out.
The system automatically fills in the personal information block on the personal data tab with the data provided by the guest. Guests are also informed here of the level they are at in the returning guest program, and can also add travel mates here.
After the booking is finalized, information related to the booking, the loyalty program, and accompanying guests can also be found in the confirmation email.
