The accommodation provider has the option to contract with InstaCash, enabling it to offer an installment payment option to its online booking guests through InstaCash, linked to specific package rate(s).
The installment payment is handled based on the agreement between the hotel and InstaCash. After completing the booking, the guest goes through an online pre-qualification process for the remaining balance above the deposit. If the pre-qualification is successful, the guest becomes eligible to pay the remaining amount in installments. In the case of an unsuccessful or missed pre-qualification, the remaining balance must be settled at the hotel during the guest’s stay.
Administrative tracking of whether the pre-qualification has been completed is the responsibility of the hotel; RESnWEB is not involved in this process.
Feature Activation
1. For the feature to function, we require the accommodation’s InstaCash account details.
The required data for activation is the API key, which the accommodation receives from the InstaCash provider. In addition, we need to know which installment payment offer should be linked to which package.
2. The feature must be activated for the selected Promotional or Fixed Price package(s) by linking the given package to the corresponding InstaCash offer. This can be done in the Settings box within the package details.
InstaCash and Languages
InstaCash is available in Hungarian, English, and German. It is important that the accommodation enables the given package in all three languages if it wishes to use InstaCash in all of them.
Feature Operation
If the guest selects a package on the booking interface for which InstaCash is activated, the installment payment option will appear for those packages and rates that are linked to this feature.
If the guest wishes, they can initiate a pre-qualification to see what type of installment payment plan they can expect.
However, if the guest chooses installment payment when finalizing the booking, the details of the installment plan will be displayed.
Once the guest completes the installment payment process, the installment payment details and identifiers will be visible both in the confirmation and upon returning to the booking interface.
Multi-Room Bookings
If the guest books multiple rooms, only one installment payment process needs to be completed. In this case, the admin interface will indicate to the accommodation that the booking is a multi-room reservation.
Email Sent to the Accommodation
The email sent to the accommodation will also include the InstaCash data and installment payment details.
Guest Confirmation
The guest confirmation email also contains a separate section dedicated to installment payment information.
