With SZÉP card online prepayment, guests can pay the deposit immediately at the moment of booking by their OTP, MKB or K&H SZÉP cards without having to log in to separate banking interfaces. Hotels do not have to track and collect SZÉP card transfers, or help guests over the phone with which service provider what they need to do to make a successful transfer or manually charge guests’ cards. This will save you valuable time and reduce the percentage of customers who change their mind between booking and payment.
Nevogate
To be able to offer online payment to our clients through several financial service providers (SZÉP – Széchenyi Recreation Cards, SimplePay, Barion, PayPal, etc.) we use Nevogate. It has a one-off connection fee of HUF 50.000 + VAT and a monthly availability fee of HUF 3.000 + VAT per booking platform. These fees are independent of the number of service providers used. If you have already signed the above contract with us for online credit card payment, you have no further action to take.
Contracting with SZÉP card providers
To contract a VPOS (virtual point-of-sale) terminal, you need to contact the SZÉP Card service providers as follows.
IMPORTANT! In the subject line of the email sent to them, please refer to Nevogate and RESnWEB as in this way your request will be dealt with more quickly.
OTP SZÉP Card
At OTP, in addition to the transaction fees, the new VPOS has a contracting fee which is 40.000 HUF + VAT per company for RESnWEB clients. (Other providers do not have this one-off fixed cost.) For companies owning a VPOS terminal that accepts credit cards at OTP Bank or OTP Mobil Ltd., the setup fee is waived. So, if you use SimplePay for online credit card payments, you do not have to pay the VPOS setup fee for OTP SZÉP card (it is important to indicate this when contacting them).

After signing the contract, you will receive an email from OTP containing the activation key (a zip file will be attached) and the shop ID. Please forward them to us at support@resnweb.com.
MKB SZÉP Card
If you already have a contract for an MKB SZÉP card terminal, you just need to request the ID/location ID from the contact below, which then please forward to support@resnweb.com and we will arrange the connection. Here, apart from the transaction fees, there is no additional fee for the new VPOS.

K&H Bank
It is also necessary to sign a contract with K&H, which should be started as soon as possible, because the approval process is longer than with MKB and OTP. Apart from transaction fees, they have no additional fees for signing a new VPOS contract.

After signing a contract, you will receive an email with technical information, many attachments and a mid ID (Merchant ID (mid) in the test system). We need this mid ID to start the activation process, so please forward this email to support@resnweb.com. Please also include the accommodation’s Terms and Conditions in word format in the email, as this is also important for activating the service. It is necessary that the document also includes information on online payment.
IMPORTANT! The RESnWEB pricing currency determines the currency of the online payment. Since SZÉP card providers only accept payments in HUF, we can only link online SZÉP card payment options to RESnWEB profiles whose default currency is HUF, i.e. if RESnWEB is priced in HUF.
Service activation process
Once the necessary information has been forwarded to us, we will start the process of integrating the services.
In case of SZÉP cards, we start the activation process for OTP and MKB SZÉP card services at the same time and make them available on the platform at the same time, because in this way we already cover 95% of the needs.
However, if you already have the data required to activate your OTP SZÉP card service, but you still need to wait for the data to be received for your MKB SZÉP card service, we will of course make the OTP SZÉP card service available on the platform.
We usually activate the K&H SZÉP card service afterwards, because in their case the contracting process is quite slow and we do not usually wait for it.
Nevogate Benefits
If you contract with more than one financial service provider, you can enjoy two Nevogate benefits:
1. All transactions of all payment providers can be managed in one place: in the Nevogate admin interface – so you don’t need to use the admin interfaces of the service providers separately: SZÉP cards, SimplePay, etc.

2. PayLink service which allows guests who do not book via RESnWEB to pay online or if guests want to pay not only the deposit in advance. In the Nevogate admin interface, you can generate pre-defined financial transactions in the form of a payment link which you can send to your guests via e-mail or text message.
