Current rates of Stripe’s services:
The service will be charged per transaction, depending on the type of card charged.
If the guest’s debit or credit card has been issued in Europe, 1.5% + HUF 85 will be charged per transaction.
If the guest’s debit or credit card has been issued in the United Kingdom, 2.5% + HUF 85 will be charged per transaction.

How to become a Stripe accepting site?
If your accommodation does not have a Stripe account yet, visit Stripe’s site and register your Stripe account.
What should I do if I already have a Stripe account?
For RESnWEB and Nevogate, you can only set up a Stripe terminal that is not used in any other system, which means that you need to create a new account and send us the data from there.

Service activation process
After creating a new terminal, we will be able to start the process of integrating the service upon collecting the required data.
IMPORTANT! Precondition for activating the service is that the Nevogate logo must be displayed in the accommodation's main page footer in, which will direct visitors to the https://www.paymentgateway.hu/ website.
Data required for Stripe’s service activation
We will need the following data to activate Stripe’s payment mode:

To generate the data and make the settings, follow the guideline below.
Login to Stripe Dashboard, and do the followings:
Click on the Developers menu in live mode
Choose the API keys menu
Navigate to the Standard keys block
Copy the Publishable key and the Secret key data
In the possession of the data, we will start the process of activating the service. If the Nevogate staff finds everything in order, permission to activate the service will be given. We will notify you by e-mail once the service has been activated.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
Apple Pay and Google Pay make payments faster than traditional credit and debit cards and other payment methods. Customers will no longer have to dig through their wallets to find the right card. Apple Pay requires the customer to authenticate all transactions on their iPhone, iPad and Mac in Safari browser using Face ID, Touch ID or passcode. Google Pay is primarily available on devices with Android in Chrome browser, but may also be used in the iOS system.
Activating Apple Pay and Google Pay
Click on the ⚙︎ Settings menu.
In the Product settings block, select the Payment methods option.
In the Wallets section, enable Google Pay /Apple Pay option by clicking on the “Turn on” button.
Creating a new account
1. Creating a new account
You can create a new account by clicking on the account name in the top left corner of the main page, and then clicking on “+ New account”.
2. Retrieving test keys from the interface
After creating a new account, the Publishable key and the Secret key will be available in the Developers / API keys menu. These need to be sent to us.
3. Activating a new account
The next step is to activate the account by clicking on the “Activate account” button in the top right corner, and then make the necessary settings.
3.1. Business type
As a first step, enter the location and the type of business.
3.2. Personal data
In the next section, you must enter your personal data: name, date of birth, address, phone number.
For personal data, it is the owner’s or the managing director’s data that should be entered. After completing the registration, the given person’s identification card should be uploaded to the system.
3.3. Professional data
On the next page, you must enter the details of the business: tax number, nature of the business, website of the accommodation, product description
In the Product Description field, we recommend that you enter the term “Accommodation services”.
3.4. Public data
Next is the registration of public data: abstract description, short description, business phone number
For public data, the name and URL address of the accommodation should be entered in the Abstract description, which will be shown on the guests’ bank account or credit card statements. You should provide a description that will allow the guest to identify the accommodation with certainty.
In the Short description, the short name of the accommodation should be entered. In the phone number field, please enter the phone number which guests can call with questions relating to transactions.
3.5. Bank details
The next step is to enter the banking details: currency, country, IBAN
For currency, it is recommended to make sure that it matches the default currency of the accommodation set on RESnWEB.
For the bank account number, you should enter the number of the bank account to which you wish to receive advance payments and voucher values.
3.6. Two-factor authentication
Please make the necessary settings for two-factor authentication.
3.7. Tax settings (optional)
The window for tax settings can be skipped, it will be possible to adjust it later in the ⚙︎ Settings / Tax details menu.
3.8. Overview and finish
As a last step, check the accuracy of the data entered and save the settings.
After that, Stripe will send an e-mail to the contact person of the hotel, as document identification will also be required. It is important that copies of identification documents are uploaded to the Stripe platform.
